
On February 18, the first day of the Tibetan New Year, the Lhasa Federation of Literary and Art Circles organized a delegation of photographers from the Lhasa Photographers Association to conduct a field visit to Lhunzhub County in Lhasa, Xizang. During the visit, they captured the inaugural New Year family portraits for local villagers.


It has been reported that the public welfare initiative, offering complimentary family photo sessions, was launched in 2011 and has now been successfully sustained for fifteen consecutive years. While a simple family portrait may appear unremarkable at first glance, it profoundly embodies the essence of familial reunion, shared joy, and enduring hopes for the future.
