Starting from a corner of a café, the Nuonuo Children’s Bookstore has now expanded in Lhasa into a cultural space of over 1,000 square meters. According to Konchog Drolma, head of Nuonuo Education, the organization has published more than 50 Tibetan-language children’s books. These include the American picture book 'Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?', the Portuguese picture book 'If I Were a Book', and the Japanese picture book 'Coco Can't Wait'.
By transforming multilingual picture books into Tibetan versions, Nuonuo is building a bridge for children in Xizang to understand the world through picture books.
