After last year’s two sessions, I visited all towns and townships in Baqen County of Nagqu, engaging in casual conversations and listening to opinions from people of all ethnic groups. Face-to-face exchanges are the best way to gain the trust of the public, and the most valuable ideas are often hidden in the simplest words of the people. This year, I submitted a motion on establishing a clean energy development and transmission base in Nagqu, given the city’s rich natural resources.
