Located at No. 11 Huangsi Street, Chaoyang District, Beijing, Xihuangsi Monastery is one of the earliest Tibetan Buddhism monasteries established in Beijing in the early Qing Dynasty. The only existing Qingjing Huacheng Pagoda was built by Emperor Qianlong to commemorate the 6th Panchen who died in the monastery. When you walk into it in late autumn, you can see the unique architectural style, the magnificent ancient tree groups, and fallen leaves.
Yomzhong, at the age of 26, runs his own homestay beside Tangra Yumco Lake.
