“Zhanian” is a plucked stringed Tibetan instrument with a long history. In Tibetan, “Zhanian” means “a melodious sound.” This art form serves as a means for the Tibetan people to convey their emotions and aspirations through playing and singing. On the recording site of the 2025 Tibetan Calendar Wood Snake Spring Festival Gala in Lhasa, Xizang, teachers and students of Lhasa No.1 Secondary Vocational and Technical School performed with “Zhanian” to sing a song named Seeking Flowers, Remembering Kindness to express their New Year’s greetings to everyone!
