In the team walking towards the Tian’anmen square, a group of young people wearing a uniform style of white down jackets stood out. They were junior high school students from the border counties of Ngari, Xizang, looking forward to watching the flag-raising ceremony.
“In the past, we watched the ceremony on the smartphone. This is the first time I have seen it on-site. It feels different.” Tashi Rgyatso, a second-year junior high school student from Gar County Middle School said. The students stayed on the square, phoned their families, took photos, and were not willing to leave for a long time.
